Celebrate Winter Solstice with homemade jiao zhi and tang yuan!

Winter solstice is usually regarded as the day in the Northern hemisphere which has the shortest daytime and longest nighttime. To celebrate this auspicious day, tang yuan and dumplings are usually eaten.

We will be making Jiao Zhi and Tang Yuan with sesame and peanut filling with ginger sauce.
