Traditional Christmas treats are often made with lots of dried fruits, which can be too sweet and heavy for Christmas in the tropics. This Christmas season, why not make your own fruity treats that are lighter, yet packed with flavour and festivity?
In this hands-on class, we will explore three fruity bakes that deliver all the Christmas cheer without dairy and eggs.

What you’ll learn:

Panettone, a classic Italian Christmas bread traditionally made with lots of eggs and butter and involving tedious processes and long fermentation. In this session, learn how to make a vegan version of panettone, soft “buttery” bread speckled with dried fruits. Instead of traditional candied peel, we’ll use a fragrant blend of Chinese dried fruits, adding natural sweetness and an unexpected layer of festive flavor. Absolutely delicious yet fuss free, with no long fermentation or stand mixer required.

Instead of a traditional fruit cake made with dried fruits, we will be using fresh berries to whip up a moist, fruity cake bursting with berry goodness, topped with golden, fragrant crumbles.

Cranberry shortbread - Tangy cranberries studded in crunchy, buttery cookies, festive, yet great for snacking any time of the year.
This class will leave you inspired, equipped, and ready to wow your friends and family with delicious vegan treats that feel right at home in the tropics.
