Friday night Tok Panjang at Palate Sensations Culinary School is a unique experience that revolves around the idea of communal dining. It offers the opportunity to reconnect with the age-old tradition of sharing meals with others, engaging in conversations, and forming connections with both familiar faces and strangers. At this event, we encourage you to detach from your mobile phones and fully immerse yourself in the dining experience. It is not just about eating; it's about learning and appreciating different cultures, understanding the stories behind the food, and having direct interaction with the talented chefs. Situated in the heart of the kitchen, you can witness the culinary action firsthand and relish in the pleasure of consuming home-cooked delicacies, rarely found in restaurants.

This is not a cooking class.

Dinner will start promptly at 7pm. We will be eating standing up!

Please feel free to BYO your own wine and drinks. There will be no corkage charges. There will be a small selection of wines and soft drinks available for sale. Complimentary ice water, tea and coffee will be served during the event.

What's on tonight?

As twilight fades and the din of daytime recedes, a sumptuous spread is unveiled, deviating from the confines of formal dining to embrace the raw energy of a Filipino tradition. At the center of conviviality stands the Boodle Fight—an exuberant celebration of food and fellowship. Banana leaves unfurl across the length of a communal table, a vibrant tapestry for a feast that's as much about unity as it is about sustenance. Mounds of fragrant rice are crowned with a cornucopia of grilled meats, seafood, and the bright hues of mangoes and tomatoes, commanding all to dig in with eager hands—no cutlery to create barriers here. Laughter dances in the air, mingling with the aroma of succulent dishes as stories flow freely amid shared plates. Each bite is a testament to the joy of simplicity and the art of sharing, making this not just a meal, but an evening to remember. The Boodle Fight mirrors the heartening warmth of Philippine hospitality, where every shared dish deepens the roots of friendship and kinship, leaving diners profoundly connected by the lore of the feast.

The menu will be mostly this but the chef may make changes depending on availability of ingredients or whatever lah:
