Palate Sensations Culinary School is Singapore's top leisure cooking school. We are currently looking for a Pastry & Bread Instructor to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Designing, developing and teaching publicly scheduled classes (depending on the chef’s expertise), corporate team building activities and private events for pastry related classes such as bread, chocolate, western pastry, Asian pastry, cake making and cake decorating.
Mise en place for classes and events
Assisting the guest chefs in mise en place and in their classes
In charge of the studio kitchen (ingredients, costs, liaising with suppliers, equipment, cleanliness, layout for classes, maintenance)
Handling consulting projects as and when necessary
Handling photoshoots when necessary
Job Requirements:
Relevant patisserie degree or diploma in French Techniques
Ability to cover a broad range of pastries, breads, chocolate work and cake making/decorating is a big plus
