To make elegant and impressive tall cakes, there are several tips and techniques that you need to follow. We will focus on the technicalities of baking and even-cutting of cake layers, systematic building and ultimately creating an ultra-smooth and symmetrical layer of butter cream frosting on the surface.

During this course, you will learn to make 2 types of frosted cakes

- 2 Tier Fondant Cake 6" and 4"

- 4 Layered Ombre Buttercream Frosted Cake 6"

Basic techniques like making a simple sponge cake, making different flavoured buttercream, how to handle fondant, usage of various equipment required, e.g. piping tips and bags, spatula, cake decorating with pipping techniques will be covered in the lesson.
