Recent trends in gastronomy look to finding ways to elevate and promote a plant based diet. Be it reducing the greenhouse gas footprint of farming, controversial animal treatment or to explore an alternative to our current diet.

This class looks at aiding in the transition so that we can still enjoy our favourite foods by using plant based alternatives to meat. These products are formulated to replicate the texture of the meats we are so akin to and by these means, it will help us to appreciate a diet without meats.

We will explain what the meat alternatives are, what they contain, where to find it and how to cook them.

Please note that we will be using meat alternative brands such as Quorn, Impossible Foods and Beyond Meat. We may use dairy and egg products but these can be replaced for vegans.
