The second in a series of workshops on Laok Hari Hari - Daily Dishes taking you on a journey of discovery of forgotten family recipes cooked by my Grandmother, Mom and Dad. The recipes are simple, wholesome and delicious dishes for family meals not commonly served at Peranakan restaurants.

The workshop also aims to introduce the ingredients and the traditional ways and tips of preparing and cutting...skills my late parents learnt and passed onto me.

The recipes we will be making:

Squids stuffed with minced pork soup
Stir fry angled luffa with prawns and scrambled eggs
Pork in a sweet sauce
