Duan Wu Jie is a widely celebrated festival amongst the Chinese, to pay respect to the patriotic poet, Qu Yuan. Celebrate this festive season by learning how to make these delightful traditional glutinous rice dumplings stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves:

Kee Zhang is a smaller alkali dumpling that serve with Gula Melaka dip 

Cantonese Zhang consist of Salted Egg Yolk, Pork Jowl and Mung Bean

Please note the following for this class:

This is a live online class delivered by ZOOM.

Ingredients, an apron and the recipes will be sent to your home on the day of the class.

You will receive enough ingredients to make 4 of each dumpling. 

Some of the filling will be prepared for you but a full demo will be done by the chef.

Please indicate your home address when you book the class.

A basic kitchen set up is required such as stove, frying pan and deep pot. No other special equipment is required. 

Vegetable oil, salt and pepper will not be provided.
