Make Taiwanese style pineapple tart, a popular Mid-Autumn Festival pastry in Taiwan and classic Chinese cookie- walnut cookies.

Taiwanese Pineapple Cake: Savour these buttery, crumbly pastry, generously filled with pineapple jam.

Chinese Walnut Cookies: Delight in these classic old school Chinese cookies filled with walnuts. Made healthier with no eggs, no animal fats and less sugar.

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • make eggless pineapple tart pastry dough
  • fill the pastry with pineapple jam and shape them
  • bake the pineapple cakes
  • make walnut cookies

Note: Store bought pineapple jam will be used in the session. Detailed verbal instructions will be provided on how to make a less sweet pineapple jam from scratch.
