You will learn to make the light and airy banh mi bread, a dish that forms the staple of the Vietnamese who need a quick meal on-the-go. It roots from the colonisation by the French in the 1880s that lasted about 6 decades. We will make a slightly different bread recipe that is healthier, containing more fibre, using some wholewheat flour in the dough.

Components such as the Chicken liver pate and carrot and daikon pickles will also be made during the lesson.
Usually made with pork, we will only use Chicken for this class.
