Festive Class: Celebrate Christmas With Christmas Breads (Intermediate)
Fire up those ovens and get that apron on! Christmas is finally around the corner once again and we’ve got a great line up of Christmas Bakes to get down and floury with. Fill the house with the aroma of freshly baked scones and cinnamon rolls, filled with sticky brown sugar and dried fruits on Christmas morning!
The Stollen and Panettone, traditional festive cakes for the Germans and the Italians, respectively, are also significant centre pieces for the season, made with citrus and dried fruits such as cherries and raisins. Brioche is a beautiful buttery bread, rich with eggs, making it a perfect teatime snack with a cup of coffee or tea. We will learn how to braid the dough into a neat loaf with an amber colored shine after baking.
