Culinary Arts - Cake Making & Decoration With Fondant (Totoro Cake)
Learn advanced techniques and knowledge to decorate cakes and cupcakes.
This class focuses on using fondant to decorate cakes.
Use of various equipment required, e.g. fondant tool kit which will be provided.
Color and shape fondant based on the chef’s demonstration.
Techniques include painting, stamping and cutouts. Make various flowers, figurines such as fashion accessories, ribbons.
Cover the cake with fondant.
Assemble and decorate the cake according to preference.
Each participant will receive a baked cake at the beginning of the class to be used for decoration. There will be no baking at the class.
At the end of the class, participants will go home with a 6-inch self-decorated cake and around 4-6 pieces of decorated cupcakes. . Please note that the cake board and cake box will be provided.
