Dishes that will elicit the ‘OMGs’ from the dining table. We will make 2 types of broth, the noodles and the char siew.. all from scratch:

Fresh Ramen Noodles

Japanese Char Siew

Rolled & tied pork braised in low heat until the collagen in the meat turns into gelatin and the meat is moist, making it only meltingly tender.

Shoyu Ramen Broth

Miso Ramen Broth

Put it altogether with a bowl of unctuous ramen cooked just through in a bowl of rich broth topped with scallions.

Kimpiri Gobou
This stir-fried vegetable dish is a great appetizer. It is made with sliced carrots, lotus root and burdock (gobou) cooked in basic japanese sauce.
