Taught by professionally trained chefs, participants will be guided through a series of basic culinary skills that help establish a firm foundation.  Every Chef in Training series contains multiple modules, which can be signed up individually or as a whole series. All our classes are conducted in a pristine, air-conditioned, 2,000sqft kitchen that utilises the best of both commercial and domestic appliances.

I have attended Diploma in Patisserie and few other classes at Palate Sensations. I like the way they teach. . to do everything from scratch and not only with the machine. Favorite part was the meat preparation.. Skinning and debone of the chicken. From a whole chicken to the different parts. Though many of my friends felt that I could just go to the market and have the same done but nothing compares to the experience and the satisfaction. Although I think 3 hours is a bit of a rush but anything longer would be exhausting too. The chef was patient and eager to share the knowledge than just cooking up the dishes. I have been recommending to friends that though it is expensive, it is worth the experience.

Palate Sensations's foundation classes are really well planned out. I gained a lot of confidence through the course and now I can go to the supermarket knowing what ingredients/herbs to choose. Our course chef is also very experienced and very professional in guiding us on the safety of cooking as well. We had a lot of fun and I didn't know cooking can be so stress-free! I would highly recommended my friends who need to pick up cooking skills and take this as a crash course.
