Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, is the most important celebration observed by the Chinese, with cultural and historic significance. The festival signals the beginning of spring, and the start of a new year according to the Chinese lunar calendar.

Certain dishes are eaten during the Chinese New Year for their symbolic meaning. Lucky food is served during the 16-day festival season, especially on Chinese New Year dinner on New Year's Eve, which is believed to bring good luck for the coming year

Impress your family members this coming Chinese New Year by making your own yusheng with a Thai twist. All the ingredients including the sauces will be freshly made with no pickled vegetables.
