"Food had always been the centrepiece of my life. The most important agenda of all celebrations; birthdays, festive seasons and little milestones. It holds my most important memories of my dad."

Breakfasts at Delifrance, Thai cuisine after several rounds of bowling, seafood at Long Beach for birthday celebrations. Food has always brought people together, much akin to love.

Art has always been a passion of mine. An empty white plate is no different from a clean canvas, all ready for the creativity to flow and love to be applied."

From the age of 17, Michelle began her culinary journey at Temasek Polytechnic, eager to learn the trade of the Food and Beverage industry. With big dreams, she traveled to France to work at Restaurant David Mollicone at Hotel Villa Augusta. Under strict guidance, core values of professionalism and self discipline were embellished.

Having set the foundations, she pursued a Bachelor\\\'s Degree in Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America where skills were fine tuned and her knowledge broadened.

From then she has taken up leadership roles from Hatter Street Cafe to Candlenut Restaurant. Learning the ropes from inspiring individuals, she strives to understand people and use her creativity to improve systems that will benefit the customers\\\' experience.

Today, she assists in managing the operations of Palate Sensations - taking care of the needs of the clients and ensuring a fuss-free access to valuable culinary knowledge from the Chefs. Michelle holds a Basic First Aid with CPR + AED Certificate from SFATC (Singapore First Aid Training Centre).

She also enjoys her free days spending time with her 2 cats, Max and Riley.
