A Junior Masterchef In The Making?

School holidays are a time for your child to rejuvenate, have fun and be a kid.  At Palate Sensations, we aim to offer them just that and much more. Introduce your child to the joys of cooking and baking with these progressive lessons over 5 half days. Perfect for the inquisitive child with no cooking experience, these hands on classes are taught by our chefs and covers cuisines from all over the world. Your child will not only be learning a valuable skill, they will have lots of fun, boost their creativity, foster healthy eating habits and no doubt make some friends along the way too. You may just have a budding chef in the making!

The series of 5 classes can be signed up as a whole package or sign up for individual days from Monday to Friday.

A certificate of completion and an apron will be issued for each child who attends all 5 classes.

The classes will be held as follows:

Monday to Friday

1st class 10am to 12pm

Lunch 12pm to 12.30pm (the kids will eat what they make in the morning)

2nd class 12.30pm to 2.30pm (the kids will take home what they make in the afternoon)

Friday afternoon, on graduation, all parents/friends are invited to celebrate as the kids will make some canapes to serve at the end of the class.

These modules are for children of all ages although children younger than 7 years old will require their parent’s supervision.

The class was awesome! Thorston thoroughly enjoyed it and he claims to know the recipes by heart and not need to refer to the recipe sheets! He felt the instructor's guidance was clear and he handled the knife and stove confidently. Thanks for the takeaway and the food tastes really great! Please keep me in touch for the next holiday class.

I just wanted to thank you very much for making my daughter's June vacation so special. Every day this week she's come back all excited about her baking session, and in the evening she would ceremoniously distribute out that day's goodies to every member of the household (and even set aside two cupcakes (Day 1) for her aunt and uncle to drive over to collect!) I'd been looking for baking classes around our area for her, and was lucky enough to chance upon your snippet in the Sunday Times that day. Natalie is now really keen to hold her birthday party at Palate Sensations!
