Delna Boyce is a Parsi Zoroastrian who was brought up in India. She grew up sampling and tasting beverage drinks for her family business, one of the largest soft drink manufacturers in India. Having travelled extensively both locally and internationally, food appreciation and inspiration became second nature to her. Armed with a degree in Commerce and Law, she worked in her family business in India for ten years before her love of food and creativity diverted her creative efforts into publishing recipe booklets of desserts, snacks and mock tails. Her expertise also included professional food styling and photography. She has won nation wide culinary contests thrice in India. Her creative interests also led to solo exhibitions of glass paintings and ceramics and handling the co ordination of production and telecast of a children’s programme on the Indian national network.
Delna held several cooking workshops on Indian cuisine during her three year stay in San Francisco. She discovered lots of quick and practical cooking ideas, fusion touches and recipes with healthy aspects. Since her move to Singapore, she was thrilled to have been given an opportunity to work in a professional restaurant kitchen.
Presently Delna is setting up her own food website and teaching healthy Indian home cooking with an emphasis on Parsi cuisine at Palate Sensations.
