Are you looking to motivate your staff and strengthen working relationships in the office, but aren’t keen on sweating it out on at an outdoor obstacle course? Come to Palate Sensations and work together in small teams to whip up a storm in the kitchen! Other than being proficient at Microsoft Excel and Power Point, what else are your team members good at, and can they even cook? Can they crack an egg perfectly, or chop onions without tearing? And can they multitask when in front of a stove?
At Palate Sensations, we’ll show you how working together to cook will serve as a great corporate bonding option. Whether it’s working with our corporate trainer Bob Feldman to participate in team-building games or going on a treasure hunt to source for ingredients as a team, we promise you a fruitful and enriching time with your colleagues that’s unique and different. You’ll thank us later on after you’ve seen your colleagues (or even your boss!) in a different light. Sessions are three-hours long and includes a sit-down meal with the rest of the team after the cooking session.
Much time is spent wining, dining and entertaining your clients and business partners, and more often than not, someone at the table would probably want a bottle of wine or two. How do you choose the best bottle that would go well with what everyone’s having? At our wine appreciation workshops, we’ll cover a range of topics including :
- Principles of wine tasting
- Primary red and white grape varieties and characteristics
- How to read a label and wine list
- Wine pairing
If you’re more adventurous and wine isn’t exactly your cup of tea, we also conduct cocktail and bartending workshops!
Impressions are always important, and it counts even more when you’re at a dinner table. Using the wrong utensils for the wrong course or dish could be a grave mistake, and even more so when you’re at a business dinner - you don’t want to lose that important deal just because you licked a knife! And if you’re looking for a dinner party that will have you leave with more than a full stomach, then sign up for our Dining and Social Etiquette class. Together with six friends, this fun, innovative and hands-on workshop will equip you with the best table manners applicable for any social setting, whether formal or informal.
With our class, you’ll never have to wonder which utensils or wine glasses to use or start with, how to excuse yourself halfway through dinner gracefully, how to place your utensils after each course; bid farewell to the old you who always waited to see what others did at the table before you followed suit! We also encourage you to ask as many questions you have when going through the class, especially those that you’ve never dared to ask, or had no one to ask! Fee includes written notes on topics and pointers discussed during the three-course meal, a glass of wine and champagne.
Tired of having to look for the newest or glitziest restaurant for your next dinner meeting or function? Had enough of restaurants who never seem to be able to be flexible or who insist on imposing a minimum spend before you can enjoy the private dining room? Looking for private and customised dinner menus that restaurants don’t offer? Come to Palate Sensations and let us take care of you and your guests as we whip up a meal that will satisfy even the most discerning palates with our wide range of cuisines and offerings. Whether it’s a casual gathering with friends and families or hosting your business partners who’re in town for that big board meeting, let us worry about the dining options as you sit back and enjoy the meal. Or if you’d prefer to be part of the creation process, we’ll be more than happy to pass you an apron and let you warm the stoves. Our indoor seating accommodates up to 40 people and an additional 20 at the outdoor dining area. You’re also more than welcome to bring your own drinks - no corkage charges will be imposed, so come dine away!
