Textwoo Carpet
Textwoo is a revolutionary product that redefines lifestyles
with its unique qualities:
It is made of woven cellulose yarns. Cellulose or Wood pulp is
obtained from plants grown in Northern Europe according to an
eco-friendly reforestation program. This program is monitored
by appropriate non-governmental organizations and demands that
for every tree that is cut down, at least 3 more trees have to
be planted in replacement.
The wood pulp derived from these plants is then shipped to Fantechi's
factory in Italy where it is then treated without the use of
chlorine and therefore recyclable. It is then spun
into yarns that are dyed using natural colors. These colors are
derived from natural color pigments from organic compounds
which do not carry any heavy metals. The yarns are than
woven together into many beautiful designs.
These floor mats have one of the best wear values in the industry
due to the length of the wood fibers used. This gives the yarns
its strength and durability. The quality of the yarn and weaving
method also prevent the accumulation of dust and allergens
(mites).
After weaving, the floor mats are treated with a water based
solution. This treatment makes the floor mats fireproof, water
repellant, light fast, stain and tread resistant. They can be
wet washed or dry-cleaned.
